OF PROFESSIONAL COUNSELLING & PSYCHOTHERAPY
Professional Counselling Service for Adults
Pro-Consult is a community-based professional counselling and pschotherapy
service. The service is provided by highly qualified and experienced staff
who are Registered Counselling Psychologists (Psychological Society of Ireland)
and/or Accredited Counsellors (Irish Association for Counselling and
Psychotherapy). Pro-consult also offers a small number of placements for
graduate students of accredited counselling programmes who work in our service
under professional supervision. Pro-Consult
is a registered charity. A standard fee applies. In certain
circumstances a reduced fee can be negotiated with the counsellor. As
of January 2009 the standard fee for counselling is €65.00 per session.
The average reduced fee for 2008 was €27.00 per session. Different
rates for group work, organisational referrals and Psychological Reports apply

The Tivoli Institute offers a psychotherapy service with qualified professional therapists and a Psychotherapy Service at reduced cost with a senior trainee from the Institute's professional training programme. The average fee under the reduced cost service is €20 (negotiable) per one-hour session. The fee can vary depending on circumstances. The therapists all have considerable experience in the caring professions, or equivalent, and work under the supervision of the Institute's professional training staff. Sessions take place in Dublin city centre, Dun Laoghaire and in Galway city centre.
